Natalie Franchisee

NumberWorks'nWords New Plymouth owner helps children to reach their potential with tutoring

Natalie, a naturally driven and ambitious educator, made the decision to buy into the NumberWorks’nWords Franchise after starting as an English tutor while studying her primary teaching degree. After spending time in the classroom, she realised that she got a lot more satisfaction from the impact she made and the number of lightbulb moments she experienced with the children in a NumberWorks’nWords centre. She enjoys the flexibility in her week and the challenge of learning more about the business aspects of running a successful and growing centre.

Natalie says, ‘It’s everything I had ever hoped it would be”, and her words of advice to anyone thinking about buying a franchise is, “Honestly, just do it! It’s the best decision I have ever made and I’m sure you will feel the same way.”

NumberWorks'nWords Henderson owners are making a difference in the community with tutoring

Ranjeeta, a science and lab analyst, and Amitesh, a software engineer, researched many business opportunities before deciding that NumberWorks’nWords was the right fit for them. The company values and programmes sat well and aligned with what they were looking for. Ranjeeta says, “You don’t just make money, but you are also making a difference in the community.” They have appreciated the training and support provided by headquarters and their own children love coming to the centre each week too.

"It’s definitely different to what I was doing. But you don’t necessarily need to be a teacher, however I think you need a passion for education and have the patience to work with children."
